Google Analytic is still giving me stats from my dead website

While back I removed the site from my server, why does Google Analytic still give me stats? It should be zero, not 1288 sessions for this week. Please provide some reasonable explantions. Thanks.

Jim Munro: You may have inadvertently placed the same code on another site. Have you checked the landing pages?
Sam “H” Mah: I didn't use the same Google Analytic script for this site.
