Deleting local Google My Business listings

Got a client buying up small businesses in the same niche and is trying to delete their local Google My Business listings without success for several weeks.Any tips on how to delete them or do you rec another strategy?

JL Faverio: Just learned they can`t be deleted per se, only options include Permanently Closed or Moved.
David Kutcher: So switch to PC and then change the URL to point to the new company.
