Change of Address tool in Google Search Console

Has anyone used the Change of Address tool in Google Search Console? I added my new website address to Google Search Console a few weeks ago, but I don`t think I`m seeing complete data. For example, I see page search traffic to two homepages (old and new URL). What do I need to know about the change address tool? I already 301`d my site to the new address, so I feel like this is the last step to get back correct data. Thanks!
