Hi Iâ€™m not technical at all but just starting a business so trying to do the most I can for myself please can someone tell me how I do a backlink Iâ€™ve googled for answers and nothing makes sense to me

Josh Levenson: "Backlinks" can come from your own site, which you have 100% control over. Or they can come from other websites, which you don`t have as much control over. If you make a good website and promote it, you`ll naturally get backlinks from other websites. Focus on making the best website you can.

Matt Quinn: In simplest terms backlinks are a vote of confidence for your site, build relevant stuff to your business/customer and you will in time gain relevant backlinks. I don`t know your business/niche but from tone of question beyond this you will either waste money or do more harm than good. I`ll only add if you`re a local focused business build citations in the largest online directories and those relevant to your niche.

Before worrying about links make sure your site structure and on page elements are good as well as overall user experience.
