Perry Bernard: Just about any Google readable content can get ranked in Google. The question is really what could rank high enough to get page 1 and start winning traffic...?
Michael Martinez: I guess it depends in part on how many times the article is syndicated, how much the syndicators edit their copies of the article, and whether the edited articles provide unique and useful information.

So far as I know, people don`t consider these articles to be high quality content - and therefore I doubt the search engines would.
