A Quandry....
Let`s say a website (with 10 million+ pages) is struggling to get much of it`s content indexed due to JavaScript executing the HTML....
Let`s say that website IS NOT blocking Google from it`s JS files.
Now, given that Google say that Ajax Crawling directive (https://developers.google.com/webmasters/ajax-crawling/docs/getting-started) is deprecated as Google can index the JavaScript, would it be a bad idea to advise the website uses a pre-render solution and the fragment meta tag to inform Google (given that it is "deprecated)?
I don`t see any other solution other than a) rebuild the site (which is out of the question) or b) do the above and use a deprecated method to present the alternative content.
Any thoughts please
Thanks?
