Accuracy in keywords optimizing

Use www.google.com.ph

I used this search term "Tagaytay Tour Package 2015" in Google Philippines.

Now, I`ve optimized that keyword phrase for this page.
www(DOT)philbooking(DOT)com/tours/philippines/cavite/tagaytay-day-tour-package

But in the Search Results that one that is ranking is this page:
www(DOT)philbooking(DOT)com/tour-packages/philippines/all-tour-packages

The first URL is a  tour package at a municipality in Philippines , while the 2nd one is All Tour Packages available around Philippines.

Anyone suggestions?

    Hmmm... (scratching my head)

    It feels great to see when a web page is ranking well in search but it sucks when the wrong web page is ranking and delivering sub-optimal experience to the searcher who visit. Here are the quick checks you need to do to figure out what's wrong happening.

    Check 1. Internal anchor text
    If you want to be sure that the URL ranks for the keyword "Tagaytay Tour Package 2015," make sure that internal anchor text that says "Tagaytay Tour Package (or its variations)" points to that page.

    Check 2. External links and its authority
    External websites might be preferred to link (with your targeted anchor text variation) to all tours page than the specific tour page.

    OR ;

    External websites might be preferred to link to both the pages, but the quality of links pointing to all tour page is higher than the specific tour page

    Check 3. On-page Optimization
    Sometimes the on-page optimization of a URL for a particular keyword is extremely similar to another. To differentiate and ensure the right page ranks, make sure there is a less priority to the target keyword on the undesirable page and high priority to the desired page. Make sure you don't do too much of keyword stuffing.

    Check 4. Improper 301 redirects
    Sometimes if we remove a specific page from the website then we tend to redirect it to the homepage or to the closest page that's relevant to the removed page. In this case, are there any 301 redirects to the all tours page? If yes, then the pages which are 301 redirected might have link juice that's making all tours page stronger.

    Check 5. Topic Modeling / Content Relevance Issues ;
    search engines do a number of things to determine the degree of relevancy of a page to a keyword. Seeing as this is likely the case, the engine may perceive that the page you're trying to rank isn't particularly "on-topic" for the target keyword while another page that appears less "targeted" from a purely SEO/keyphrase usage standpoint is more relevant. Determine the topic areas and identify related terms/phrases and concepts that can be added on your target page to start getting ranked for the target keyword.
     ;
    FYI: Check 2 doesn't apply to your website because specified pages don't have any backlinks. ;

    Hope this helps!
