Where does the video schema markup play into all this?

Hey, I`m planning on listing some webinars videos on our website. Would you create independent pages for every video where you embed the video or opt for something like this example: https://directiveconsulting.com/resources/category/video/ Where does the video schema markup play into all this? thanks a lot!

  • Brenda Malone: If you have a lot of webinars, develop an archive page, and, yes, put each on its own page, along with transcriptions if possible, and if not, be sure to describe it with at least 500 words.

  • Thomas Underwood: Have you considered gated content for lead gen purposes? All depends on your philosophy, ungated is likely to produce better SEO benefits of earning natural links and the video transcripts and keyword focus potentially ranking.

Link your YouTube videos where your hosting the content back to the page you embedded them on as a nice signal to show the two are linked and gives some potential YouTube referral traffic
