Tim Capper: Tons of free chrome extentions - in local i am always using Company Information on Google, GS location changer, things like that
Mark Heller: Tim Capper didn`t know about that one, ty
Michael Martinez: To add to Tim`s recommendation, I use an extension called User-agent Switcher that allows me to test whether search robots are being served different content from normal users. Doesn`t always work but it helps.
I also install privacy extensions like Privacy Badger and Video Blocker because when you`re looking at other people`s sites all day long you have no idea of what you`re going to run into. You do need to keep an open mind as the privacy extensions sometimes warn you not to visit a site because of its advertising code. Once you are familiar with the big networks (and there are many) you`ll have a pretty good idea of when it`s safe to visit the sites.
Mile Živković: I love using the Mozbar and NoFollow Chrome extensions
Tayb Bhatti: I often use SEO Minion. Its a chrome extension and easy to use.
Travis Bailey: Screaming Frog is a really good one, especially if you`re not that solid with Python. It`s pretty much a Swiss army knife of a crawler. You`re only limited by your knowledge of RegEx, and only if you`re looking for something specific. The free version is limited to 500 URIs.
You can also use Chrome to change your location, for locally related queries. Though I`ve seen little variance from a standard search.
