  Chase Reiner: I had a forum on my wordpress site called Zingiri forms and it got hacked and now all of my anchor text from my site says buy Viagra online :( any ideas how to fix this? I deleted the plugin but and the page it was coming from is 404d but I'm still having problems.

  I have had a look at your site and it does not seem to be hacked now but usually an exploit like this will involve more than one method. Are you able to share the steps you took to rectify the issue?

I deleted the forum and reindexed my pages about a month ago, but through open site explorer by moz I can still see that there is a lot of anchor text either coming from or to my site (not sure which)that says buy Viagra, Ect. I also have a high spam score on my site (I think three) and I'm not sure if it's because of the anchor text or what but I have a feeling I'm getting penalized for it. Also if you google reliable computer help Zingiri I show up on a bunch of weird foreign websites. Any help is appreciated greatly!

  Jim Munro: It is common for spammers to pile keyword-optimised backlinks onto an owned site but any potential damage to your site has been mitigated by your removal of the hacked portion of your site (assuming that was the only part of your site which was compromised).
  
  You can rest easy, as long as the affected pages remain as 404's, no damage can be done to your site.
  
  However, if you find that they are also backlinking to your homepage, you can use the link disavow tool to alleviate it. Remember to also disavow on Bing WMT.
