Ankit patel: What is the idle length of Meta title and description for Non English version website?
Dave Elliott: same as the English, although be careful with Japan as they use double bye characters so only have half as much space available.
Ankit patel: So you recommend title around 30 chars and description for 90 chars with space
Dave Elliott: i seem to recall we go with about 120 chars for the meta-descriptions but about 30 for the title. If in doubt find something that measures in pixels rather than chars.
Tony “Tiggerito” McCreath: The title pixel with has just changed to 600px. And it seems mobile gets a bit more of a character allowance.
I guess the best way is to review existing results and test.
