Local SEO for a business serving multiple cities

If my business is located in city 1, will it help Local SEO to include a list of cities such as "serving city 2, city 3, and city 4?" on core pages?

William Jones: yes I do this all the time for my clients and it works wonders
Tim Capper: Just remember to 1) make them unique and useful to a user that lands on them 2) you actually serve those locations
Chowdhury All Naby Prince: If you serve in those location then create unique content for those locations
