Is it important to have particular elements on web page to add Schema for it?

Hello webmasters,
I have a question regarding schema for Web Page, Is it important to have particular elements on web page to add Schema for it?

Example: Suppose if I want to add schema for "local business" through below Google tool, What elements do I need in the content of page.

Does content need "Name", "Address" etc in the content or i can add it manually?

Dave Elliott: it needs to be in the content somewhere, it can be in a footer/header though, as long as it can be physically seen by a user of your site.

Off the top of my head you need 'business name, address and phone number for local business although there are email fields and opening times etc, if you have those on your site.
