  I've been asked to write some content for this site. Is there any reason that this site is not ranking very well, and do you have any suggestions for improvement? (besides writing content). I would appreciate it if you didn't share the site on air (I might get a spanking). ;

  Tech Beamers: I'm not sure, but may be the name of the site and images on it wouldn't go well with google policies. But wait for more comments from other bloggers as well.

  Places that you should use your target keyword phrase on each page of your website:
  · ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; In the SEO title tag of your page (or just the main title of the page if your CMS does not allow you to edit SEO fields). This is a requirement for the on-page optimization of a keyword.
  · ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; In the Meta description for your page. Even though it may not count for optimization purposes, it will get bolded when someone sees your webpage in search results for that keyword.
  · ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; In at least one image's filename and ALT text.
  · ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; In the first paragraph on the page.
  · ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; In a few places throughout the content on the page in a natural way.
  *Make sure that your target keyword may appear semantically!

  Other than your content -- you can also try to engage with your audience through social presence - and joining other communities that may have relation to your niche!
