How Search Engines Understand Search Query

Hello I am new here and to SEO.  But I have nagging question, do search engines understand that Searchers may type say "I lost MY car keys" and English web text might say "how to find YOUR car keys"? or do we have to write "how to find MY lost car keys" (which sounds wrong to me) in our content and descriptions et al.

Sorry if its been covered before!

Peter.

  • Suresh Kumar: Yes, Google does work with intelligence and it might suggest the line which you are about to type in search bar...
  • Dave Elliott: It will work it out.... however, you may well find that having the phrase 'how to' is useful to have..... In this instance what would be wrong with targeting "How to find lost car keys". Ticks all the boxes that way and still sounds natural.
  • Peter Stokes: Thanks All
