Anyone have any tips on increasing the crawl rate for a site?

Anyone have any tips on increasing the crawl rate for a site? When I add a service page to my client`s site it gets indexed within the day, but for some reason, their blog posts take about 5 days to get crawled and indexed.... Right now the site is only 25 pages and, on average, Google crawls 3 pages a day. Is there anything I can do besides interlinking or site structure? Should I be submitting each new blog post to get crawled every time I publish one?
