  • Richard Hearne: Not sure what you`re asking here. What links? Where? How are these compatible with migrations?
  • Nathan Gaidai: Richard Hearne Relative linking in a tags vs full url
  • Federico Sasso: Do you mean using relative URLs instead of absolute? As long as the URLs are correct, not an issue.
  • Nathan Gaidai: Federico Sasso YesRelativeSo the internal linking will not have any difference?
  • Federico Sasso: Absolute or relative, if the link is correct, Page Rank flow works the same.
  • Nathan Gaidai: Federico Sasso Got it! Thanks
  • Sam Mah: It`s better to have an absolute path. When a bot steals your text content, you protect your internal links, and the link juice remains within your site.
  • Nathan Gaidai: Sam Mah What do you mean by protecting my internal links?
  • Sam Mah: You protect your internal link juice. When they steal it, the link goes back to your domain. The bots steal, but they do not modify what they stole.
  • Federico Sasso: Debatable: you`d have inbound links from potentially toxic websites. The only advantage I can see is you might more easily find the copy by looking at your referrals in analytics.
  • Sam Mah: Federico Sasso Google recognizes the toxic website, I read this from search engine journal.
  • Federico Sasso: Sam Mah that`s what they love to assert, yes. Many observers based on direct experience doubt they do it correctly 100% of the time.
  • Frank Watson: would leave domain as domian.com - people will link to you using it and if you have the other one even if you redirect the first it lessens value of the linkDOMAIN.COMWebsite Domains Names & Hosting | Domain.comWebsite Domains Names & Hosting | Domain.com
