Website Disappeared from Google Search Results

Urgent Website Disappeared from Google Search Results. One of our website http://bit.ly/2giGbVu which was ranking very well from so many years disappeared suddenly from Google Search Results. There were hacking issues with the website in recent months which was fixed by us and even got reply of successful reconsideration request. But it suddenly disappeared from search results. What can be reason for that.

  • Jim Munro: I see that site:jloungespa.com returns no results. Are there any messages in Google Search Console?
  • Hardial Singh: +Jim Munro there is message in Manual action. We fixed those issues last week and even reconsideration request was accepted on Nov 28. Is there any reliable tool to check hacking issues with the website
  • Jim Munro: I see you gained and lost about 2.7K backlinks recently. Were these links related to the hack and you 404'd the landing pages? I am sorry but I do not know of a single tool for WP hacking issues other than Sucuri but I do not think your site is currently hacked.

BTW your menubar seems to be broken. It opens with all menu options exposed obscuring the page. There does not seem to be a way to clear it other than clicking a toplevel link on it - "what we offer" which goes nowhere but at least the menu disappears.
  • Madalen Ross: +Hardial Singh have you tried Wordfence?
  • Jim Munro: I am sorry to disappoint, +Madalen Ross, but Wordfence cannot prevent a distributed brute force attack. Instead of installing Wordfence, consider changing to a ridiculously long randomly-generated password. It's the only sure defence for a WP password attack.
  • Jim Munro: +Hardial Singh ;has this been resolved as the site was returning no results at all from a site query yesterday but today it is showing as 9660 pages?
  • Hardial Singh: +Jim Munro ;yes it seems to be resolved. We submitted Reconsideration Request on Friday and now website is coming up again in search. But still checking it carefully since hacking issue has effected site several times.
  • Jim Munro: The menu is still broken. Click on Jlounge organics and observe what happens.
  • Hardial Singh: Yes we are working on it
  • Suraj Gadage: +Hardial Singh the site is back in search index but still you have unwanted pages (added by the hackers) indexed in search results. I checked a few and returning 404 error. Though, you may want to do a complete check again by downloading search index data to see if some page these pages still exist on your site and/or place a URL removal to remove these unwanted pages from search index.

  • Hardial Singh: +Suraj Gadage ;we checked that there are lot of such pages present in search results. Most of the pages are returning to 404 error. We are still checking all the pages. Is there any tool available to download search data or to find such pages
  • Suraj Gadage: +Hardial Singh ;unfortunately you will have to do it manually. Here is how you can expedite the process though:

Step1: Change search results setting from 10 results to 100 results
Step 2: Add Seoquake extension on chrome and enable it (this plugin gives you an option to download search results to excel)
    Step 3: Search for 'site:domain(.)com
Step 4: On left side you will find an option to download the search results to csv. Click on the option.
Step 5: Click on the page 2 search results and repeat the step 4. Continue this for 96 times to download all 9560 indexed pages.

    Hope this helps!
