Put Under Maintenance Info on Google places

Hello,
One of my client`s business will be closed for renovation for a certain time period. He wants us to put this information on Google place page but as i know that`s not possible or even a good idea. I need to know your recommendation on this. Could it be placed on his website somewhere? Please advice.

Dave Elliott: Google places allow you to add "special business hours" for precisely this sort of occurrence...and yes it is a good idea, you really want to inform your customers when you won`t be open to prevent confusion.

You should also note the change on the website. Depending on the site i would add this to the home page, the contact page and the page where your opening hours appear.
