  Search engines use hundreds of ranking signals and none of them are supposed to overwhelm all the others. Even so, many sites do quite well because of their strong backlink profiles - not just because of the PageRank-like value and anchor text those links pass, but because the algorithms can see that the links are embedded in highly qualifying content.
  
  SSL, page speed, and many other signals that marketers embrace don`t really affect rankings that much.

  Michael Martinez: As far as I can determine, that is a legitimate Website for a telecom company that has been in business since 1984.

  George G.: Michael Martinez could be. if you open it with normal browser it redirects to some spammy stuff. if you open it with google user agent it works fine.

  Julius Gashumba: You might wanna check you PC and browsers for malware. I found the site through a Google search and had no trouble viewing site on multiple browsers.
  PS. I use Microsoft`s Google Chrome browser!

  George G.: yea i opened it on a fresh virtual machine with ubuntu bud. its hacked. not saying its your fault tho, just a hacked site. there are plenty. and it is normal that it appears in search, they server other cotnent for the bot.

  Julius Gashumba: George G. I guess the ad-blocker is protecting me from seeing what you`re getting. However, I noticed a tracking code after the URL from the Facebook link - When I posted I did not use copy/paste but instead typed in the URL. Don`t know where the code is generating from.

  Michael Martinez: Julius Gashumba Facebook adds tracking codes to all links. Perhaps that is what you`re seeing.
