I have many bad links to my website

Something`s been eating me for a while. Suppose that I have many bad links to my website. The kind of links that can cause a serious drop in ranking. That`s the case for our website novin.com... But google doesn`t recognize most of these links as spam right now. If I delete these links, I`d probably face a drop in ranking but I`d be confident that my link profile is clean. what would you do? would you go ahead and delete them immediately? Or try a more conservative approach?

Helmut BeriÃ©: if you know they are bad links then chances are Google will eventually find out too.
try to acquire good links and then start disavowing the bad ones.
on the other hand there are lots of pages ranking because of questionable links so maybe you continue to be lucky ...
