Grammar and SEO

  • Webado C Webada: No, but read this: http://goodcontentcompany.com/proofreading-test-roundup
  • Eren Mckay: Thanks Webado C Webada and I agree that nothing replaces a professional proofreader. however this isn`t really an option for freelancers who don`t have a huge cash flow. It`s a better option for businesses.
  • Webado C Webada: I wouldn`t rely on Word markup, it`s a big mess. Just paste it as plain text.
  • Michael Stricker: If you already use Word, much of the markup of spelling grammar and faulty punctuation is built in...
  • Webado C Webada: But as you saw none of the electronic tools scored very highly. Grammarly still has a free version. Then there`s MS Word which does a pretty good job. Dreamweaver also has a spell-check tool, as of course does Chrome. But none are ever comprehensive. . I`d add a trick I do. I run my text through Google Translate and get it translated to some other language. Then I take that translation and translate back to the original language. If the result is the same as when I started it may have been OK in the first place. Or not ... so it`s something you need to check properly.
  • Neil Cheesman: Word is okay to read in.... and then copy and paste into notepad... and then use... I use Grammarly as well as my own eyes....
