Caronda Hampton: Easier to rank for and great for anchor text
Perry Bernard: An advantage from 10 years ago. Little value now unless the vertical is not very SEO competitive. A bad mistake if you plan to create a memorable brand.
Abhik Shome: i want to create an affiliate site, the domain I have in mind brings a good amount of traffic in exact match, should one go for it?
Perry Bernard: Abhik Shome getting a domain that matches a large volume of search means nothing. Thatâ€™s no guarantee you can rank the site let alone hit #1. And do you even know if the term is commercially viable?
Abhik Shome: ya it has a good CPC.
Jeff Ferguson: Great for marketing, indifferent for SEO.
