Do I need to limit the entry in my sitemap?

I have just purchased Yoast for my WordPress website. I`m going to setup sitemap for my website. Do I really need to limit the entry? Becos I don`t understand the code at all.

George G.: No, you dont. However, before going yoast, you had to ask which plugin to use for seo. Nowadays - rankmath and seopress are much better than yoast.
