  • Tim Capper: Im going to say because you are actually located in Brisbane:

    https://www.google.com/maps?cid=10772231054518345523

(you should really sort this listing out)

As you are located actually in Brisbane - I would not change your main site.

I would create a city Landing page for Gold Coast - and also use supporting content for the Gold Coast - like your project pages but specifically for Gold Coast
  • Ilya Pushkarev: Thanks for the advice, primarily things are booming in Brisbane ( and its not a problem) but would like to get more calls from GC.

So to create a city landing page for GC, i would need to replicate a certain page and switch all the words to GC?

And then as you say... branch project pages from that landing, with GC keywords?
  • Ammon Johns: Do NOT create thin content pages where all that changed is the city name. This can cause you to get a penalty that could cost you BOTH cities.

Create fresh content that talks about why this is especially relevant to Gold Coast residents and customers, either by specific relevance to how the problem it addresses is unique, different or special in that city, or by whatever else would make sense to customers there.

Above all, do not think like an entitled businessman who is only thinking of what he wants (more business from a second city), but be customer centric in what`s in it for them, the customers in that city, that they can`t get from whoever ranks now. Make a USP.
