This is a question about webcache and SEO

This is a question about webcache and SEO. you can see this link displays the content in `text only` view, in a correct way. But what if the webcache displays the text half ON the page and half OFF the page. (as in, it is not centred. it is being cut off from view). I was informed in another group that it is nothing to worry about and there is no evidence this is an issue ect ect. I believe it is, wondering your thoughts. Thank you.

  • Richard Hearne: Why would you worry about this? You`re requesting a slimmed down text-only version of your page, which Google uses for nothing. Use the Mobile Friendly testing tool, or any of the other testing tools Google provides which render your page, in order to assess if your layout is broken in Google`s "eyes".

  • Nic Hughes: Google uses it for nothing...ok then

  • Michael Martinez: Use the cache to determine if the search engine is seeing everything you want it to see. They`re providing you with information about what they can extract from the page without the intended formatting.

If nothing you want indexed is missing from the text-only cache, then that`s really all you need to know.

  • Nic Hughes: Michael Martinez the text is not aligned. it is cut off the screen. half on the screen and half off. as if the left half of this comment was off the screen. if that makes sense.

  • Michael Martinez: Nic Hughes Yes, but you`re looking at a viewpoint that doesn`t normally include proper alignment. It`s a bit like stepping on the fuel pedal and suddenly saying the car is going too fast.
