Moving domain to another registrar

Any pros/cons for SEO if a site`s parent nameservers live at GoDaddy (ugh I know) with their A Record pointing to Squarespace (ugh again)?I`m curious if there is any benefit to moving all nameservers to Squarespace so there is no attachment to GoDaddy. Thanks!

  • Adam John Humphreys: Really no issues either way. Godaddy`s A records actually average out faster internationally. Alternatively, you can utilize Google Cloud DNS which is pennies a year when averaged out between sites. After all, aren`t we trying to be fast for Google and users connecting from there?
  • Richard Hearne: Shouldn`t have any SEO impact. DNS is by it`s nature distributed, so not likely to fail.
