Is it crucial to have everything preloaded?

My blog page on my WP website has a "Load More" button. Is it crucial to have everything preloaded or I better have it paginated?Someone told me that it is important to simply keep it on the sitemap - which I tend to agree but I just wanted your take on it...?

Adam John Humphreys: I think the load more button is a bad user experience personally. Lazy load is the way I`d be going there. Also, yes paginated for sitemap at least so it`s not one verbose mess.

Adam John Humphreys: Yes, it wasnâ€™t in the past though. They had issues with it prior to the last year with image indexing.
