Inline CSS and SEO

Does this matter, or am I just being particular? One of my clients does a lot of direct formatting of the visual aspects of her blog. It makes the blog HTML version of the post a bunch of junk as you can see below: 8.  The text in this post is like this. (The blog posts all have varying amounts of HTML junk & it makes the HTML version ugly.)
