Hello, I am new here and I had a few general questions I am hoping to get some clear answers on. I help run a news company that is in the field of gaming and almost daily we receive sponsored content opportunities. These companies offer to create an article that fits the brand of the website and they include typically 1 possibly 2 dofollow links. They can range from the genres of casino, gambling, CBD, etc. My question is should these be avoided at all cost, how would Google handle this, and are there any perks? Is there any instance that this is a good idea? Obviously, the revenue is good but at the end of the day if it will do harm then good I would like to know that from experts in this group.
