Google search console issues.

Hi. I`ve been using search console for months now and I am just wondering why it still displays the following errors.

Duplicate meta descriptions
Short meta descriptions

I assure you that my pages have different and unique meta descriptions and they have been crawled by Google successfully. But still, I have a duplicate meta error.

Regarding the detected short meta issue, last updated date here is July 18, just recent. So I believe that there is no way that Google has not seen my updated page.

My theory is Google detects a duplicate meta when pages` descriptions have the same idea or subject. Can this be true?

Please enlighten me and others who are experiencing this.
