Directory Indexing and 404

We have changed hosting to a company which doesn`t have directory indexing enabled in order to remove unnecessary pages and have noticed many 404 and 403 errors appearing in Google WMT. Is this something to be concerned with?

Jim Munro: I don't think so, Marty. 404's are a fact of life on any busy website. The GWMT notification is more of an informational than an error. 403s are being produced now because you formerly sent a folder index but now googlebot is told "not allowed".
