Change of address tool questio

Change of address tool question. I am migrating a .co.uk to a .uk domain.I had the setup with just 301 for a few months, everything worked just fine. I saw all the links from .co.uk on the .uk domain (in the console.)Once I initiated the change of address in the console, after a few days all links from the .co.uk were not present in the .uk anymore. Only the .uk links were there.Anybody that has done this, is it normal?
