Why Google doesn`t associate my email address with my website?

Happy Thursday! I have a quick dumb question: I googled my website using my email address and nothing came up; do you have any idea why Google doesn`t associate my email address with my website and how to fix it?

  • Rajesh Mago: Don`t know the answer to your query if you gave your email address on your site pages but why would someone like to be spammed by giving their email address so easily along with the site URLs! People really interested in contacting the site owner will find it anyway by other means!
  • Mimi Lerie: Rajesh Mago Thanks so much!
  • Perry Bernard: You said you "googled your website" using your email address. Just to clarify, what it seems you did was Google your email address, but you expected your website to appear in results? Not many people (if any) in real life really do this, so it`s not a good indication of much of anything, as finding a website is usually via a keyword search. If however, you want your website to be ranked for your email address, OK, but I see little value in that for what I noted above.
  • Mimi Lerie: Perry Bernard Just a client told me the other day and other people do actually google the email to make sure the business is legit and is linked to a business. I didnt now it was a thing
  • Jason Smith: To see if your sites pages come up in Google, type site:mywebsitename.com I`m not sure about the email address though as I have never tried to look for it.
  • Ash Nallawalla: Unless your email address is visible on your website in plain text, i.e. not behind a form, you will not find it. Just because Google knows your email address (my guess) it will not reveal all possible websites owned by a certain email address.
  • Mimi Lerie: Ash Nallawalla The email is displayed and visible on one of the blank pages.
  • Mark Rowe: I think what you meant by people googling an email address and see if it’s legitimate business is this. If a business email ended with @businessname. Then they would search “businessname”to see if that’s a legitimate domain. At least that’s my take on this.
