While checking my backlinks on GWMT, I still get some links that have been removed some time ago and are 404.
Hello Dear Seo Questions community.I wish a best success for every one during this new year. I have little question for you , i m using ahrefs service to check my backlinks however other competitor web sites .I noticed that the service still count some spammy backlinks i have d already remove by contacting web site admins.in addition i face the same issue with Google web master Tool also while i check my backlinks i still get some link that is removed from long time ago and are not found completely on targeted web sites code source.The backlinks i have removed are coming from updated web sites and i m sure that most spiders including the one for Google will take in consideration any changes on those site.May i have your suggestions about that.Kindly let me know about the pinging procedure Too, i have heard about that term in many blogs so if possible discuss much more about the this term including

2 why and when it should be used
3 does it effected the we pages crawling.
