When we don`t use the exact keyword that have traffic

According to SEO does it matter if we don`t use the exact keyword that have traffic? Keyword: skin tightening serum for face In Google Search Console, this keyword`s monthly searches are "10 - 100" and the Competition is "High".   Keyword: skin tightening serum for the face But if I add the word "the" before the word "face" to improve English sentence structure, then Google Search Console is showing Avg. monthly searches "0 - 10" and Competition data is not available.   SEO experts, is there any difference according to your experience?
