  • Alan Bleiweiss: There is never a valid reason to wrap a logo image with an H1. The H1 has a specific purpose for human site visitors. It`s meant, if used, to be the primary headline text ON the page, visible to people coming to that page. If you`re not going to use that text field opportunity to convey what the primary topical focus of a page is, then it`s better to not have an H1 tag on the page at all. So in this case, I would suggest you think about what makes sense for human visitors to the page. If you do that, the text you use would be naturally helpful for SEO.
  • Andrés Osorio: Thank you Alan! The H1 tag on my homepage isn`t visible but it is being used with the text <h1>Home</h1> from what I can see in the source code screen shot I provided.
  • Dan Thies: Yeah, that’s not ideal.
  • Melissa Fach: Here is a good article to help https://www.hobo-web.co.uk/headers/
  • Andrés Osorio: Thank you Melissa!
