First Click: Should you put your brand name at the end of every title tag? I see some websites do this and I'm not sure if it's beneficial or not.
Kyle Hawk: I do it because I feel like it could help usability. If someone hovers over the title tag, I usually have a naming convention like page | website. So they know what page it is, and it's the primary word in the browser, then the website name is there as well as a reminder of what website that page is on.
Think if someone has twenty tabs open. When they hover, they usually want to know what page / website it is. So that's my solution.
Hope it helps!
Mark Gilvey: I had this same question and I forgot about the usability benefits. I think sometimes as SEO's we lose site that UX needs to work first and SEO shouldn't alter that.
Dave Elliott: I always do. Helps with consistency and if people have lots of tabs open it makes it easier for users to find your site again.Basically, what Kyle said.
