Selling products for Canada

Hello Everyone, I have a question for you. My client, which operates in the US market, started to sell their product to Canada. They created new URLs for Canada but the contents are all the same. All details and titles and other tags are the same among them. They did not use hreflang tags. They are separating them with the tag fba_canada and fba_US.Does this strategy affect our SEO badly? Do we have to use hreflang tags in this situation? Thank you for your response in advance

  • Josh Levenson: Why did they create Canada pages they are the same content?

  • Mehmet Yılmaz: Josh Levenson I don`t know. I think they found it easy to create pages in this way.

  • Buth Main: There is no sense to create a page with the same content. You shoud use more signals to help the search engines to identify locations.Using hreflangs is a good idea, but it doesn`t guarantee a good SEO performance for Canada pages.

  • Mehmet Yılmaz: Do you have any recommendations for this?

  • Buth Main: You can create specific content for Canadian page and add hreflangs.
