Placing keywords on heading tags

HI! I`m going to have a hard time trying to explain this in English... I`ve got on my website a PAGE1, already ranking good for KEYWORD1, if I make another page , lets say PAGE2, ranking for another keyword, lets call it KEYWORD 2, can I add the same keyword1 from the other page in an H2 of PAGE2? I don`t want page2 to rank for keyword 1, but they are related in the topic so I think could help page 2 rank higher for his main keyword complicated question, I hope you could understand it, waiting for the opinion of the big seo masters :)

  • Josu Sánchez Arnalda: Example Page 1: H1: Spanish for beginners page 2: h1:Spanish courses h2: Spanish courses for beginners I did that and when I write Spanish courses for beginners google shows me page 1. Is there canibalitation? Should I change it? I think is helping me to rank better for Spanish courses
  • Roma Alloui: This is a very good question. First and foremost, you should always have a page that is focused around 1 keyword and not multiple (except for the landing page). If you used your main keyword on Page1, then Page2 should not focus on the same keyword. Also, remember to include your semantic words, synonyms for the keyword you are targeting. You can use your main keyword as an H1, then your semantic word (or synonym) as an H2. Don`t forget to include your keyword and semantic words in your paragraph and not just in Headings (h1 - H6).
