Dumb SEO Questions

Links in embed code of resource shares.

Hi folks,

I work for an educational website that produces study resources that can be embedded in external sites (it works in a similar way to SlideShare, ie, you can grab a resource and embed it in your site). At the moment, we are including a link to the profile of the creator in the embed code (again, like SlideShare).

However, we have now considered linking to a landing page instead. Do you think, from an SEO standpoint, there would be anything wrong with this? Should we include the user`s name in the anchor text rather than the landing page title so it has some variety?

Thank you?

The cuetimes listed on this page are functional while the live broadcast continues and also once Youtube has finished processing the public broadcast. Processing time varies between 6-24 hours. During this period the clip is viewable in full but the cuetimes cannot be relied on.
