I`ve created a mobile site via a 3rd party company for my website.

Hi all, hope someone can help I`ve created a mobile site via a 3rd party company for my website and put the alternate and canonical tags into the relevant parts, however when I search for it from my laptop on Google it shows up the m version on page 3 and not the main site. and if I use a different search term the main site sometimes shows. Am I missing something as been going round in circles!

  • Andy Wigglesworth:  ; +Ben Bignell  ;I think in this case you are going to have to post your domain name - can't see it your G+ profile..
  • Ben Bignell: Hi Andy, thanks, its www.hogroastbbq.com
  • Andy Wigglesworth: For me, incognito search for 'Hog Roast BBQ' you are #1 for your main site and no sign of the mobile version.

    Out of curiosity when you  ;searching, are you logged out of G+ and or using incognito search through chrome - just to try and remove any personalised search/history that google may be using for your results?
  • Jim Munro: That might be because you have the "Hog Roast BBQ" on speed dial, +Andy Wigglesworth  ;:)
  • Andy Wigglesworth: I can only wish +Jim Munro  ;because that photo on +Ben Bignell profile looks awesome...
  • Jim Munro: It does. :)
  • Ben Bignell: Hi Andy sorry for delay in replying. It was when I was logged into my google + account. I'll try it when I'm logged out to see what happens.
  • Ben Bignell: its still there even when I clear the history. https://www.google.co.uk/#q=hog+roast+dorset&start=20  ;
  • Andy Wigglesworth: No Idea Ben - for me in every single browser & incognito searches I can't see your mobile site at all.

    Try from a family members computer maybe?
  • Ben Bignell: Ok, thanks for your time anyway. :-)
