Is there a negative impact on ranking from changing Google/Authorship photo?

When you change your Google/Authorship photo is there a negative impact on your ranking ? I`m thinking it would be very temporary if anything . ?

Mike Stetzer: Won't directly affect your rankings, but could affect your CTR and your CTR is a metric that factors into your rankings. ;

Mike Stetzer: Cyrus Sheppard wrote a post like a year ago about testing out different Authorship pics to optimize CTR. Never a bad idea to test!
