  Perry Bernard: Hi Pawan. Links like that are no-follow. They do not pass any pagerank back to your site. They do however show in your link metrics, evidenced by Google Webmaster Tools.

  social media links are no-followed but they still bring traffic - ;Relevant "human" traffic . Who can interact with your site, and who knows? maybe even buy whatever you are selling there. ;
  
  They could even end up linking to your site from their website.....maybe even with a followed link!
