Internal linking in main menu navigation

Internal linking in main menu navigation. What do you think of linking to most important pages here? I heard some negative thoughts about same anchor text for links in here because link will appear in all pages and Google takes just a first link in HTML as an anchor. In result of it, those most important pages will have 100% same anchor text.

  • Michael Martinez: "Google takes just a first link in HTML as an anchor." <- NOT TRUE. Google takes whatever link anchor Google wants to take, and it`s not always the first link on the page. That said, you should be creating navigation for the users, not for Google. If people want to find those pages, make it easier for them to get to those pages.
