  Davo 21: Hello, i want to move my site to HTTPS, besides 301 redirect from .htaccess and adding the HTTPS version of the site to Webmaster Tools does it require any additional setup? What should i do with the regular HTTP version should i remove it from Webmaster Tools? And how long does it takes for Google to show in SERPs the https URLs?

  PromozSEO: Apart from the 301 and webmaster integration of https version of the site, make sure all the canonical tags refer to the https version on each pages and all the inner links should start with https:// (absolute URL).
  Keep eyes on your webmaster tool's crawl error section, you may find couple of URLs which you forgot to redirect.

  Pe xu: So it's OK to add another sitemap with https URLs? Can I remove the http version of the website from webmaster tools? I am thinking about the fact that Google will continue to show in search results the regular http version or that is taken care of by the 301 redirects?
