  • Mikita Shah: Kindly share your website to know what exactly it's based on.
  • Daniel Delos: Here's a few big ones:

    Don't use pure commercial keywords as anchor text. ;

    Also link to resources besides your own site whenever meaningful. ;

    Post on relevant sites only. ;

    Respond to any comments on your past posts where applicable.

    Make sure your site has other types of links as well.
  • Chris Taylor: +Victor Mbazigwe ; Guest posting is a good way to backup website with backlinks and traffic. I think you should use long tail keywords to avoid google penalty and also try to give backlink to your social media networks. Always try to add authority links to a post for making the post looks natural. ;
  • Harry Dance: +Victor Mbazigwe ; both +Chris Taylor ;and +Daniel Delos ; have some great points. Just a few extra ones

    - Pitch a series of content instead of one "guest post".

    -Describe yourself as an "expert contributor" not a "guest author" .

    -Don't contribute to sites that want to publish your content under a general "guest author" account. Always insist on your own contributor/author account, and markup with rel author.

    -Go back to the same authors for similar content to develop them as experts in a specific niche.

    -link to all relevant sources and don't worry about rel=nofollow. I still think rel=nofollow has an impact on a websites authority
  • Chris Taylor: Good tips +Harry Dance ;and many thanks for the appreciation. :)
