OK so I have a few questions about getting images to rank in Google. Ive been working on a small online store since mid November, right now the images are displayed in a Javascript slider so Ive decided to have an extra page added for each product where all images are displayed with their individual page url, here`s an example
Product page - http://store.forevergeek DOT COM gamestick/
Image gallery page - http://store.forevergeek. DOT COM gallery/?pid=1617
However I have read that it is possible to get images in a javascript image gallery to rank by using an image sitemap, so should I do this OR use the html page gallery OR do both of the above?
Next question, aside from using the right file name, alt tag and image title is there anything else I need to do in regards to keywords and text? If I have a caption box below each image with the keyword or phrase in would that help?
Anything else important for SEO & images?
thanks?
