Now I am planning to create separate domain on different hosting of category wise like abcdbags.com, abcdtoys.com, abcdgames.com.so whatever products I have in abcdbags.com, abcdtoys.com, abcdgames.com that product will also be there in my main site ABCD PVT LTD.I am promoting my main site and separate domain worldwide, so it is good strategy as per google?

  • Michael Martinez: What Google wants to see is unique value. So, it`s okay to have 2 Websites that basically promote the same product. But if you`re not differentiating between them in some meaningful (to searchers) way, then Google won`t be so happy. They may canonicalize one site`s listing to another. If you don`t really have an effective way to distinguish the sub-brand sites from the main brand site, it may not be worthwhile. One option would be to use the sub-brand sites to provide special deals that aren`t available on the main site.Another option would be to use the sub-brand sites to sell the products and the main brand site to promote the sub-brand sites - that is, create a corporate flagship site whose mission isn`t to sell product but to create and contribute to visibility for the sub-brands.Those are suggestions. I can think of other strategies I might try. But you need to be clear about what the business decision is (other than to crowd Google`s search results with duplicate or similar product listings on multiple sites).
  • Richard Hearne: I`ll offer a very succinct reply: NO.
