How do you refine GA customer location traffic depending on server location and IP adress?

  • Alan Bleiweiss: In reports that allow a second dimension to be set, you can choose "users" then city.
  • Katarina Lujak: thank you alan for asnwering my question. can you please elaborate a bit more on that logic of getting cleaner results?
  • Alan Bleiweiss: Katarina, when you go into GA, and choose a standard report, there is a "secondary dimension" option available for some reports.
  • Alan Bleiweiss: If you click that dropdown button, you get options to choose.
  • Alan Bleiweiss: If you choose "Users" from that dropdown, that gives you more options, one of which is "City"
  • Alan Bleiweiss: If you choose "city", it will refresh the screen, where it breaks down the data by city.
  • Alan Bleiweiss: This "second dimension" function works for many report types. Here`s one for the top most visited pages.
